Once I submit the Tax Client Checklist, if applicable, and the Client Document Submission forms along with my tax documents, when can I find out the price for my tax return?
There is a Fee sheet located under Resources that lists our prices. Pricing will be confirmed, via e-mail or phone, once the receipt of tax documents has been confirmed. All new clients will have to respond with confirmation, prior to beginning your return.

When can I pay for my return?
You can pay for your return online through our secured PayPal service at any time after receiving your price confirmation. However, you do not have to pay until your tax return has been completed and ready for submission. An e-mail will be sent with your refund or balance due amount once your return has been completed.

What is the turnaround time for completing returns?
On majority of cases, the turnaround time is less than 3 business days, once all information to complete the return has been submitted. Special cases: Peak time, waiting on additional information, or more extensive returns (i.e. partnerships, corporations, s-corporations, the new affordable exchange health forms).

How often will the office be in contact as my taxes are being prepared?
Throughout the process so make sure you have provided a good contact number and a valid e-mail address.

What is the Protection Plus Program?
This is an additional protection service with an IRS ID Protection Unit/Taxpayer Advocate to represent the taxpayer against tax reporting audits (up to $2,500), and identify theft and cyber breach restoration program.

What are the Taxpayer's Benefits for participating in the Protection Plus Program?

How much is the Protection Plus Program?
The annual protection fee is $47.95 and FREE for more complex returns with a tax preparation fee of $500 or higher.

Once I submit the Tax Client General Information form, if applicable, and the Tax Client Checklist form along with your tax documents, when can I find out the price for my tax return? 
There is a Fee sheet link located on the Home Page and under Pay Online that lists our prices. Please feel free to contact the office for more information on our fees.

How many prior year returns are you able to prepare?
Our company has the ability and software to prepare tax returns for up to 10 years back and e-file returns up to 3 years back.

Are the fees different for prior years?
Fees are the same for each current and prior year returns.

Do you accept tax returns for the current year through April 15th?
Due to the high volume around the tax deadline, no new returns or appointments for the current tax year will be accepted after April 12th, with the exception of filing an extension. If you are filing an extension, all requests and paperwork must be in by noon (EST) on April 14th to allow time to prepare and process by April 15th. All tax services will resume on April 17th.

Do you accept checks?
Yes, we accept checks; however, your return may not be e-filed until the check has been cleared. Depending on your bank, this could take up to 10 days. You will responsible to any returned checked fees. No starter checks will be accepted.

What is needed to direct deposit my refund?
Voided checks used for direct deposit purposes must contain the name of the taxpayer(s).

What is included with my tax preparation services?
All tax return services include senior tax advisor preparation, personal contact throughout the process (via phone and/or e-mail), free tax planning on current return, free IRS audit assistance on current return, free e-file (for the past 3 years), participant in the Annual Filing Protection Program (AFPP) for IRS representation, and follow-up return processed/refund status message (via e-mail) for the current tax year. Additional future tax planning assistance outside of your current return (i.e. retirement planning, home buying preparation, guidance on setting up a business, investments) will be administered at the rate of $75 an hour.

How secure are my files?
Very. Your files will be encrypted and transmitted through our SecureFilePro secure portal, which is secured with 256-bit SSL encryption. Once your portal account has been setup, at all times, clients can view and access only their own documents. Any paper tax documentation received, unless requested, they will be destroyed once your return has been completed and submitted.

Is there a privacy policy in place?
Yes. Our company has a privacy policy in effect, where your information is never used other than for your tax purposes.

Do you prepare all return types?
Not all. Due to the amount of time and verification needed, NO Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax, Farm, Clergy, Quarterly Federal Excise Tax, Claim for Refund of Excise Tax, Annual and Quarterly Employee Tax, Puerto Rico, or FBAR returns will be accepted. If you form is not listed here or on the website, please contact the office to inquiry.

Do you accept Spanish-speaking clients?
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have a Spanish-speaking translator available.
